I'm a thinker.
A writer.
And a mother.

And I don't use them lightly.

​My time is spent observing people, thinking about their needs, and inspiring them toward action.

I’ve shaped the voice and usability of flagship products like Office 365, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and currently Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales—always with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and scale. And I've co-developed controlled vocabulary as part of the Microsoft Writing Style Guide Editorial Board, and content design guidance as a member of the Fluent Design System team.

I thrive at the intersection of systems thinking and storytelling—designing products and content that’s not only usable, but sustainable. Whether I’m mentoring teams, building frameworks, or simplifying complex workflows, I bring curiosity, clarity, and care to everything I do.

Outside of work, I fancy myself a naturalist at heart. I originally studied Environmental Science, Forestry, and Geology before pursuing a Technical Communications degree, and I still have a soft spot for environmental issues. Surrounded by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, I enjoy hiking, sailing the Puget Sound, and just hanging out under a tree having a good think. These days it doesn't happen nearly enough. My kids aren't as keen on sleeping under the stars. Go figure.
